Saint Vincent de Paul Society conferences embrace the Principle of Subsidiarity, with decisions made as close as possible to those in need. Donating funds will help neighbors in your community.

Our thrift stores welcome your donation of new and gently used items: clothing, household goods, furniture, jewelry, home decor, office supplies, and more. Your items will find a new home and proceeds from the sale will be used to help neighbors in need. Contact the store near you for additional information and to ask about pick-up of large items or a very large quantity of smaller items.
You may be single or married. You may be working, retired or a college student. Consider how you might share your time and talent to support neighbors in need in your community. To learn more and get involved, contact the St. Vincent de Paul Society conference near you (refer to the Contact Us page).
A few notes about involvement: Volunteers generally contribute time and talent as their schedules permit and based on needs of the conference. Members also contribute time and talent; however, members also commit to attending twice monthly meetings of the conference and commit to "journey together towards holiness, because true holiness is perfect union with Christ and the perfection of love, which is central to their vocation and the source of its fruitfulness."
